Now the reason for my call today is just quickly to give you an update on the underwriting outcome from Tal with your insurances. Now we are obviously looking at applying for your life, title, permanent disability, and the income protection. And from the information that we had before applying for the cover, we already knew that there were going to be a little bit of of that loading because of the diabetes. So that was already factored in. A loading is so, basically, if there are revised terms on a policy because there's any preexisting medical condition, there are two ways that the insurer can go about it. So they can either do a loading, which is where you are still covered for for everything. They just increased your premium a little bit because there is an increased chance of obviously needing to claim. So loading means you're still covered. The exclusion means that they have excluded something to be able to claim on. Does that make sense? Yep. So we already kind of expected that loading, and that was factored in through the premium and everything for the income protection. They have come back and said that they are placing a little bit of a loading on the life and TPD as well because of the period of time because of the diabetes. So it doesn't change too much on the premium, but I do wanna just run that through with you to make sure you are still happy with it. I still requoted all the other providers, and this one was still the cheapest even with it. So that's good. So the the original premium, so for all three covers, was 1,486. The new one would be 1,896. So it's about $400 a year. So not a great deal, but I do wanna make sure that you are, you know, you are happy with it. Yep. Perfect. Now there are two other kind of temporary things as well. I do wanted to check with you that I have come back with, and it is just on the TPD and IP, and it is temporarily. Now that is a hernia exclusion, so that means it's not covered on the hernia. It is reviewable, though, which is great because sometimes with the exclusion, they put it in place, and they just say you're just not covered, period. So the good thing is that they have said it is reviewable once it's kind of been surgically prepared and you are recovered. So when that happens, they are happy to look at it, and then we can look at getting that removed if that makes sense. Yep. And then the last thing was a another exclusion for anal fissures exclusion. Again, the good thing is that it is reviewable. As soon as it's kind of been successfully treated and you haven't had any, you know, recurrent issues for six months, again, they are happy to relook at it, which is good. So I'm happy with this outcome, what they've said. I have checked with other insurance, like I said, and TELUS still given me the best outcome for you. It's still a lot better than your current cover, and I'm happy and comfortable with this as long as you are. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. That's great. A loading is so, basically, if there are revised terms on a policy because there's any preexisting medical condition, there are two ways that the insurer can go about it. So they can either do a loading, which is where you are still covered for for everything. They just increased your premium a little bit because there is an increased chance of obviously needing to claim. So loading means you're still covered.\n\nThe exclusion means that they have excluded something to be able to claim on. Does that make sense? Yep. So we already kind of expected that loading, and that was factored in through the premium and everything for the income protection. They have come back and said that they are placing a little bit of a loading on the life and TPD as well because of the period of time because of the diabetes.\n\nSo it doesn't change too much on the premium, but I do wanna just run that through with you to make sure you are still happy with it. I still requoted all the other providers, and this one was still the cheapest even with it. So that's good. So the the original premium, so for all three covers, was 1,486. The new one would be 1,896.\n\nSo it's about $400 a year. So not a great deal, but I do wanna make sure that you are, you know, you are happy with it. Yep. Perfect. Now there are two other kind of temporary things as well.\n\nI do wanted to check with you that I have come back with, and it is just on the TPD and IP, and it is temporarily. Now that is a hernia exclusion, so that means it's not covered on the hernia. It is reviewable, though, which is great because sometimes with the exclusion, they put it in place, and they just say you're just not covered, period. So the good thing is that they have said it is reviewable once it's kind of been surgically prepared and you are recovered. So when that happens, they are happy to look at it, and then we can look at getting that removed if that makes sense.\n\nYep. And then the last thing was a another exclusion for anal fissures exclusion. Again, the good thing is that it is reviewable. As soon as it's kind of been successfully treated and you haven't had any, you know, recurrent issues for six months, again, they are happy to relook at it, which is good. So I'm happy with this outcome, what they've said.\n\nI have checked with other insurance, like I said, and TELUS still given me the best outcome for you. So that was already factored in. A loading is so, basically, if there are revised terms on a policy because there's any preexisting medical condition, there are two ways that the insurer can go about it. So they can either do a loading, which is where you are still covered for for everything. They just increased your premium a little bit because there is an increased chance of obviously needing to claim.\n\nSo loading means you're still covered. The exclusion means that they have excluded something to be able to claim on. Does that make sense?\n\nChannel 1: Yep.\n\nChannel 0: Yep. So we already kind of expected that loading, and that was factored in through the premium and everything for the income protection. They have come back and said that they are placing a little bit of a loading on the life and TPD as well because of the period of time because of the diabetes. So it doesn't change too much on the premium, but I do wanna just run that through with you to make sure you are still happy with it. I still requoted all the other providers, and this one was still the cheapest even with it.\n\nSo that's good.\n\nChannel 1: Yeah.\n\nChannel 0: So the the original premium, so for all three covers, was 1,486.
